Independent developer, Sim Chia Tek, has just released an update
to his highly popular ‘Silvester Adventure’ game,
compatible with the Apple iPhone® and the Apple iPod
touch®.
To players not familiar with the title, ‘Silvester
Adventure’ is a brilliant hybrid and wonderful mix of
platform- and puzzle-gaming, in which you control not only your
main character, but more importantly, the shadow of your character!
In this highly addicting and mind-blowing puzzler, you must solve
and overcome a number of difficult puzzles and obstacles by clever
shadow manipulation. The game becomes even harder and more
challenging as you must – at all times – make sure that your shadow
doesn’t leave its “Shadow Range” (safe-zone of the
shadow), otherwise you are doomed to failure, and will perish!
As you successfully progress throughout your adventure, you will
achieve shadow skills that can aid you on your quest. Among the
skills you can obtain are Shadow Moving, Shadow Minifying and
Shadow Magnifying. Some puzzles can only be solved by enlarging,
shrinking, or even moving your shadow to an entirely different
position on the screen, and without these shadow skills you will
get stuck! Additionally, the game has a number of power-ups you can
use, including the ability to expand the shadow-range (also known
as the Range Extender).
With 31 highly challenging levels, 4 different and unique
worlds, 3 shadow skills to obtain, and full gyroscope- and
Retina-support (where available) this game is adventure gaming at
its best! The updated version now available has achievements
through GameCenter integration, and supports English, Simplified
Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
