The Sacramento Kings look to continue their good form as they host Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns
The Kings won their fourth straight home game with an impressive come from behind 106-101 victory over the West leading Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Sacramento has really found their offensive flow recently as they have topped 100 points for the third time in four contests, after reaching that mark just twice in their previous 22 games.
The Suns on the other hand returned home after impressive wins at Milwaukee and Atlanta to fall to the Houston Rockets 96-89 on Thursday night. After winning three straight an averaging 100.3 points per game, Phoenix were held to just 13 points in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s loss.
Head to head, the Home team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The Kings are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games overall, 9-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Pacific and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite of 0.5-4.5. The Suns on the other hand are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as a road underdog of 0.5-4.5, but just 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 2-11 ATS in their last 13 Saturday games.
The Kings managed to get up for the best team in the league in their last outing, but can that sustain that against the sub .500 Suns? The Kings are actually playing their best basketball of the season at the moment and not only have they won three straight, but they have covered in seven straight games and their against the spread stats across the board are really good. The Suns do have nice wins at Atlanta and Milwaukee recently, so there not without a good chance here. Phoenix could take this one, but the Kings own one of the better home court advantages in the NBA and their playing some really good basketball lately…
